NICTA
NICTA (National ICT Australia) is Australia's Information and Communications Technology Centre of Excellence. It is an independent organisation, which since its establishment in 2002 has been operating in areas of research, commercialisation and research training. With commercialisation being the end goal of many projects, NICTA has delivered fundamental advances across a number of fields such as Biomedical and Life Sciences, Software Infrastructure, Intelligent Transport Systems and others. NICTA is the largest ICT research organisation in Australia, consistently winning well-recognised awards for its technological innovations and successful bridging of the gap between research and marketplace.
The AIC worked in partnership with NICTA to gather better market intelligence for NICTA projects to ensure their best way to commercialisation.
